Scope & Content Record book used by H.A. Giles at his tailor shop, Sure Fit Tailoring, located on Charles Street in Deadwood.

The book consists of approximately 100 pages of order receipts from customers. The original book included a white overlay sheet given to the customer and a yellow receipt sheet kept by Giles. Many of the sheets are filled out with orders, including names, measurements, dates of drop off and pick up, height and weight, etc.

The form includes areas to record measurements for coat, vest, and pantaloons, as well as overcoat measures and questions to ensure accuracy.
