This issue discusses Representative Men of the Black Hills. Personal illustrations of some of the representative mining and business men of the "Twin Cities" of Deadwood and Lead in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Published by the Western Mining World Co., the magazine contains an announcement that the 6th annual session of the American Mining Congress will be meeting in Deadwood. Has articles about the Galena District, the Queen of the Hills Co. (west of Lead), the Golden Crest Co.'s cyanide plant on Strawberry Hill, the Golden West Mining Co., and photos of Deadwood and Lead.
