24th Annual "Days of '76"---August 1-2-3, 1947
The text of the letter reads as follows:
The 24th annual Days of '76 will be held this year on August 1-2-3 and we hope that you will be our honored guest at the afternoon show on Friday, August 1. Plan to be at the Adams Memorial Hall at 1:00pm that afternoon where transportation to the grounds will be provided.
The parade will be featured during the first two mornings of the show, August 1 and 2, and we would like to have your ride in the Pioneer Float which is one of the attractions of the parade. Please fill in the enclosed card and return to us so that proper arrangements may be made for th afternoon performance and parade.
