Deadwood History, Inc. (DHI) strives to make its collection of over 100,000 artifacts, archival materials, and photographs accessible to researchers. We are in the process of digitizing some of our collection and add materials online monthly. Use this online catalog and our archival finding aids to explore DHI’s diverse collections. Searching the Collections
To browse assorted images from the collections, click on the Random Images button. The Keyword Search button allows you to perform a general search across multiple fields for any catalog records online. Use the Advanced Search button to search within a particular search category or use multiple categories to narrow your search. To use the search terms prepared by DHI staff, click on the Search by Term button.
Using the Collections
These digitized collections are accessible for purposes of education and research. We have indicated what we know about copyright and rights of privacy, publicity, or trademark. Due to the nature of archival and museum collections, we are not always able to identify this information. We are eager to hear from any rights owners to obtain accurate information. Upon request, we will remove material from public view while we address a rights issue.
