Booklet belonged to Edna Ford. Outlines the classes and projects for fall, winter, and spring terms for Deadwood students from the 1st grade through high school. In back, lists of DHS graduates from 1886 to 1896; common school textbooks and regulations for teachers, superintendent, and pupils. In front, members of the school board, officers and members of the board's buildings and property, finance, teachers and textbooks and course of study committees. Names of board are in People section. Notes inside the front cover mention that the library was open on Thursday; that students who were neither tardy nor absent were allowed a half-day holiday at the end of each month and that there would be 5 minutes of physical exercise in each session. |
