Series containing Constitution and By-laws booklet and three membership cards for the Western Federation of Miners all owned and used by William Christianson. - Booklet titled "Constitution and By-Laws / OF THE / Western Federation of Miners / ADOPTED AT / BUTTE MONTANA / MAY 19, 1893". The cover then lists the amended dates from 1894 though 1909. The book contains the Constitution and By-laws of the Western Federation of Miners. - Three membership cards all signed by William Christianson. The membership cards are booklets with cardboard covers and contain stamps. The cards range in date from 1908 to 1913. |

Materials belonged to William Christianson. He was a member of the Western Federation of Miners and the Lead City Miners Union. He worked for Homestake for from the 1900s until he retired in the 1950s. He also lost his job during the Lockout of 1911. |
