The document was originally written on August 12, 1961 in Hibbing, Minnesota. James R. Bjorge, Guy Bjorge's nephew, recopied the account on July 4, 1981. |

Guy Bjorge was born on July 13, 1887 in Underwood, MN. He came to work for the Homestake Mining Company in 1932, becoming assistant manager in 1936, vice president of the Board of Directors from 1940-1961, director from 1962-1964, and director emeritus until 1970. He died in 1972 in California. |
