Engelbritson. Born June 18, 1884, Lead to Peter and Helen (Buchmann) Engelbritson, died December 31, 1979, Deadwood. Celebrant Rev. Raymond J. Diesch. Organist Mrs. Regina Thrall, Soloist Mr. Wayne King, Casket Bearers Gordon Engebretson, Leonard Steele, Frank Pavich, John Steele, Charlie McGuigan, and Walter Taylor. Interment at St. Alysius Catholic Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota. Memorial to St. Patrick's Catholic Church Building Fund. In Loving Memory and picture of Jesus on front. Two short prayers "O Gentlest Heart of Jesus" and "May the souls of the faithful departed" on inside left with service information on inside right. |

The materials are owned by the Lead-Deadwood Hospital since the records creation. In 2023, the Lead-Deadwood Hospital agreed to allow Deadwood History, Inc. to scan some records to expand access to the materials to researchers. The Lead-Deadwood Hospital still owns the originals. Deadwood History, Inc. only has digital copies. |
Location of Originals |
Digital copies of scrapbooks and other materials can be accessed at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center. However, the original scrapbook is in the possession of the Lead-Deadwood Hospital. |
