Scrapbook Created by Shirley Anne Teiten for her Girl Scout trip to the Black Hills. The pages are held in a blue cloth three-ringed binder. The cover has "Black Hills" written in black. The binding has "Black Hills 1941" written in black. The photographs are mounted on black pages with silver photograph edges. Page 1: An outdoor scene with water in foreground with trees and cabins behind it. Page 2-15: "From Reiville to Taps, and After or A Look at the Pioneers from Devil's Tour by Shirley Anne Teiten". The pages the author's account of her Girl Scout trip to the Black Hills in 1941. Shirley's writing about her stay in the in the Black Hills include accounts of hiking, singing around the campfire, and site seeing. She mentions visiting Sylvan Lake, the Needles, Mount Rushmore, and Rapid City's Dinosaur Park (which she found unimpressive).
