Flood in North Deadwood |
Date |
1907 |
Description |
Photo features water covering most of the first ward area in lower Deadwood, probably following the spring flood of 1907. The view is looking north down the Gulch. Either the Deadwood & Delaware Smelter or the Gold & Silver Extracting, Mining and Milling Co. is in the background. In the foreground is a sagging and tilted railroad track with the base washed away and the end of a railroad trestle which has been washed away. |
