She is holding a bouquet of roses in her left arm and a scroll tied with a ribbon in her right hand. There is a rose in her hair. Her hair is either short or up. Birdie, sometimes spelled "Berdie," Robinson was the daughter of Henry Robinson and sister of Charles H. Robinson. The photograph is on a green striped matting, which reads: "H.R. Locke & Co. / Deadwood, So. Dakota" A notation on the back of the image reads: "Miss Birdie Robinson" |
