Description |
Part B: Base of trophy made of light colored wood, unfinished on the bottom and stained on the top and sides. Base is square with beveled top edges. On top of base is a hollow square box with a gold colored metal plaque on one side. Plaque has black text hand written in black marker and printed in black and reads "Southern Regional / MINE RESCUE CONTEST / Tom Regan / 1st Place / Homestake Mine Co. / May 3 & 4, 1996 / New Iberia, Louisiana / Donated by / NATIONAL MINE SERVICE". Circular piece of white foam with adhesive residue, top center. Part B: Trophy figurine, made of either plastic or wood. Shaped like a man wearing a hardhat and a breathing apparatus on his back and oxygen mask on his chest. There is a white rhinestone glued to the light on the front of the hardhat. Carved into the base of the figurine is "DRAGER" with the letters painted red. Figurine is painted black with a thin coat of gold over the black. Stamped into the hat is "C 1980 / M BAILE". Stamped on the breathing apparatus is "BG / 174." |
