Description |
Soft rawhide, grayish in color, with beading around the top opening and in one-inch-wide bands extending 6.75" down opposite sides where the bands meet a 10.25"-long area of solid beading all around the body of the bag. Hanging from bottom of bag are thin, 4"-long leather strips covered in porcupine quills. Attached to the ends of these strips are 3 metal spheres with beads inside that jingle and a band of leather fringe 8" long. Top is gathered even though the leather thong attached to the back is not around it. ***On display in Grandmother Earth exhibit (2011) |
