Description |
Part A: Bodice made of cream colored fabric. Has high collar made of net with applique lace sewn over top. Three bands of cream colored velvet, one at top, middle, and bottom of collar. Copper beads sewn to velvet. Top portion of bodice is made of netting with vertical pleats. The rest of the bodice is made of cream fabric with horizontal pleats, gathered at bottom front. Lace appliqued over bust extending across the shoulders to the back of the bodice. Lace is also on lower front. Sleeves are long and made of cream fabric with horizontal pleats. Three sections of open work stitches. Applique lace and netting at the bottom portion. Netting flares out at elbows. Bodice is lined with white cotton and has stays inside. Bottom edge trimmed in ivory ribbon with a rosette in back. Closes with hook and eyes. Parts B and C: Cuffs for sleeves. Tight fitting, made of cream fabric with horizontal pleats. Trimmed in lace. Appear to have torn off of sleeves. |
