Description |
Scale made of metal and painted yellow. The scale's body is roughly rectangular with a circular dial on the front. The dial has a silver colored metal outer edge. The center is printed blue and has numbers 0-29 printed in black on a white background. Inside the ring of numbers is another blue ring that contains color images of babies, baby toys and accessories. In the center of the dial on a white background is an image of a white stork holding a baby in a cloth sling in its beak. Printed in black in below the baby is "HANSON / MODEL 3025 / NURSERY SCALE / MADE IN CHICAGO 22 U.S.A. / NOT LEGAL IN TRADE / 30 LBS. BY OUNCES". Attached to the base of the scale by a rod is a tray with upturned sides. Printed in the center of the tray is an image of a blue lamb. affixed to the proper left of the scale's base are two silver colored metal plates that are printed in black with "N.H.G.H. PLANT OPER. / DEADWOOD, SOUTH DAKOTA / 00865 / PLANT OP. INSPECTION / BY DATE DUE". Four felt pads on the bottom, one in each corner. |
