Description |
Made of composition materials with shiny faux black leather appearance. Outside domed with a front and back bills at bottom edge. White band around base dome. Around top of band are twelve small circular holes. Right angular flat sheet metal bracket at front for holding Part B. Front of bracket has red wax paper and a small black rectangular band. Inside around base is a black band with four black webbed cotton bands forming a double arch suspension in top. White label inside top of helmet has a logo in center which reads, "HARD BOILED" along with other text. Label inside reads: "To adjust lining to head-tighten cord." Label includes "Hard Boiled" brand logo and patent information. (Patented in 1928.) Made in the U.S. by Pacific Safety Equipment Co., San Francisco, CA. Sole agents for this helmet were E.D. Bullard Co., 275 Eighth St., San Francisco, CA. Masking tape under the bill with "Jim Dunn" on it. |
