Description |
Two tan cotton polyester blend fabric sections cut into arc shapes with an oval shaped top center crown section. Edges of fabric have dark brown cording with one section of cording forming an arc to the bottom edge on right side. To the right of the cording at bottom edge is, "5969 SOUTH DAKOTA" in dark brown stitching. To the left of the cording arc is a sewn on emblem of the United States Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Emblem shows a red and white Maltese cross with gold outline and center having the Great Seal of the United States with an eagle holding onto olive branches and arrows with a circle of stars in between outstretched wings. Words around seal in white read, "AUXILIARY / V.F.W.". Inside lined with white cotton fabric. Inside top of crown printed with, "Salyna / REG. / by ST. GEORGE / 23 1/8". Black image of a rider on a horse next to text. |
