Description |
Matchbook made of paper that is peach on exterior. Paper folds over to form a booklet that contains four rows of matches with white heads that are secured with a staple at the bottom. Printed on the front is a color illustration of a pistol and four playing cards. Illustration is surrounded by text printed in red and black, "OLD STYLE / Saloon no. 10 / 1876 / DEAD MAN'S HAND / DEADWOOD". The bottom flap is printed in black with "THE ONLY MUSEUM IN THE WORLD / ... WITH A BAR" and "UNIVERSAL MW/EDDY MATCH 1-314-994-9449 MADE IN CANADA". The back is printed with a color illustration of a building facade with wagon wheels affixed to the side and three people sitting on benches. Text below illustration reads, "657 MAIN STREET / DEADWOOD, SOUTH DAKOTA". There is a brown strike strip on the back. The interior of the booklet is printed with text describing the No. 10. |
