Description |
Hangs from neck and has two wide lapels that lay on chest. The lapels are made of red velvet with royal blue velvet at the top. The blue section has gold trim with a twisted gold colored metal fringe around the outer edges and is embroidered in gold metallic thread with vines and leaves. The red portion of the collar has silver trim around the outer edges with silver colored twisted metal fringe. The proper right side has a star and "P.O." surrounded by leaves and vines embroidered with silver colored metal thread. There is a red stone in the center of the star. The proper left side has a "P.O.P." and crossed staffs in the center surrounded by leaves and vines, also embroidered in silver colored metallic thread. Silver tassels hang from bottom points. Lining is red quilted satin. Black fabric label with text reading "The Ward-Stilson Co / MFRS. SOCIETY GOODS / New London, Ohio." Collar fastens in the front with three silver colored metal links, the center one has a hook on the top. |
