Description |
Yellow paper check inside a gold colored frame. Check is printed in black with "DEADWOOD, SOUTH DAKOTA." at the top with a line for the date. Check is made out to "Northwestern National Bank & Trust Co." for $70,000.00. Check is signed by Mary A. Adams. Note at bottom reads "Lots Bot Main St" and "TRUST STARTED". Back of check is stamped with several stamps. One in black reads "PAY TO THE ORDER OF / ANY BANK, BANKER, OR TRUST CO. / ALL PRIOR ENDORSEMENTS GUARANTEED / AUG 25 1936 / FEDERAL RESERVE BANK / 17-88 MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. 17-8". Also stamped with two Northwestern Bank and Trust Company stamps. Frame is gold and has a window with glass on both front and back so that both sides of the check are visible. Black mat. |
