Description |
Inverted bell shaped cup top with outside being silver plated and the insides having a golden finish. Around outside the background is silver colored and has a pitting pattern. Engraved in sides is a flower pattern repeated twice. The pattern has two fuschia flowers hanging from stem that is connected to a branch with four leaves attached to base of branch. The flowers from the two patterns face each other. Underneath the engravings is a raised band with the name, "Mrs. J.W. Ford" engraved on raised band. Bottom section is a spindle with raised middle section and attached to a circular base with three steps and a curved up center. Stamped into bottom of base is hallmark reading, "Hall Elton & Co., Wallingford,Conn, Treble Plate, 1209". |
