Description |
Skirt made of dark green rayon gabardine. Has an adjustable gripping waistband liner, six gores. Skirt is slightly flared. The skirt closes on the side with a horizontal metal zipper-like closure. There is a fabric tag inside the waist band that is printed in green and orange with the image of two girl's heads and the text "GIRL SCOUTS / NATIONAL EQUIPMENT / SERVICE / NEW YORK CITY / OFFICIAL". There is an iron on tag on the interior of the slit where the skirt fastens closed and it is printed in black with "MARGARET A. WILCOX / 12 Parkdale Ave. -- Ph: 2072 / Lead, South Dakota". Skirt has wide, hand sewn hem. |
