Description |
Rectangular section of Masonite with beveled edges and a rectangular section of white paper adhered to top surface. Top decorated with gold colored floral flourishes, blue leaves, red acorns, and symbols of the Girl Scots in two sections. Entire board oriented in a vertical fashion. Top section has a horiztonal rectangular frame with symbols and flourishes. Bottom section has a vertical frame of symbols and flourishes. Top has black text reading, "THE GIRL SCOUT PROMISE". Text below main title reads, "On my honor, I will try" / To do my duty to God / and my country, / To help other people at all times. / To obey the Girl Scout Laws.". The O at the top is a large red script and in the center is an image of hand with the thumb and pinkie finger folded inward and the three middle fingers pointed up. Near top center under text is an image of a gold trefoil with a silver eagle holding an olive branch and arrows. Below image is more text reading, "THE GIRL SCOUT / LAWS". Following this title at center are red Roman Numerals one through ten. Back has an elongated trapezoidal shaped cardboard collapsible stand. |
