Description |
Part A: Pin made of copper colored metal. Bar pin at top that is slightly curved with a straight pin closure on the back. The front of the bar pin is etched with scroll and leaf motifs. Etched text in center reads "Elizabeth Morthland". A metal gavel hangs from the center of the bar pin. Short copper colored chains hang from either end of the bar and attach to a circular medallion. The medallion is composed of a wreath of flowers with a bow at the bottom. In the center of the wreath is a ten-pointed star. Every other point in the star is enameled in either green, red, blue, yellow, or white. Each enameled point has a copper colored symbol in the center. The other points of the star have flowers and leaves in the center made of white, blue, green, and yellow enamel. The center of the star is white and black with copper letters "L F A T A" around a copper colored symbol. Back of bar pin is etched with "1915". Part B: Four flap case. Case is covered in maroon leather. Interior is lined with maroon velvet with a metal tab at top center. There is a snap closure on the top and bottom flaps. |
