Description |
Rectangular wooden case with vertical rounded front corners and a slanted front center recessed window. Glass painted with a gold line boarder and in center are three areas divided horizontally. Top row has the letter A at each end and the numbers, "550 600 700 800 900 1100 1300 1500" in tan with green brackets below numbers. Middle row has the letter B at each end along with text and numbers in the center reading, " SPECIAL / POLICE / 1.6 / AMATEUR / 1.8 2.0 / POLICE / 2.5 / AIRCRAFT / 3.0 / TROPICAL / 3.5 / AMATEUR / 4.0 / SERVICES" Bottom row has the letter C at each end and numbers and partial text reading, "SHORT WAVE / 6 7 8 9 10 12 14 16 18 / FOREIGN". Bottom row also has names of international locations at the tops of the middle numbers. Front middle has a raised brown curved plastic decoration with the center having a rectangular cut out and six rounded dark brown rounded push buttons with horizontal lines at bottom edge. Button at far left has a label at top center reading, "KOBH". Middle has a recessed rectangular opening with the recessed area having a round and tan fabric cover. Along bottom are four round brown plastic turn knobs. Below each knob is text reading," POWER VOLUME / VICTROLA RADIO TONE / TUNING / C B A PB RANGE". At center between the buttons is a label reading, "RCA Victor / DESIGNED FOR / TELEVISION / ATTACHMENT". Back open with a think cardboard partial cover having ring of holes cut out around edges and held to back of unit by supports at sides screwed to inside base of silver metal box. Back bottom of silver metal box has manufacturing information including a round white lined port with text above reading, "EXTRA ENJOYMENT / TELEVISION RECORDS". At center of label is a serial number reading,"007638". |
