Description |
Rectangular wooden base painted gray. Attached to base is a telegraph sounder. It is comprised of a rectangular copper colored metal base with two dark brown cylinders sitting on top of it in the center. A copper colored metal arch is on one end of the copper base. Running through the center of the arch is a silver colored metal rod that also runs between the cylinders. The rod has a spring on one end and moves up and down. It is stamped on one side with "J.H. BUNNELL & CO. / NEW YORK, U.S.A." Along the top are three copper colored screws with round disks screwed on them. Attached to the wooden base in front of the sounder are four rectangular pieces of copper colored metal attached to the base with screws and washers. Stamped on the other end of the wooden base is "400 N.P.P." THe copper base is stamped with "PAT MAY 7, 1895". On the bottom are four black wires, an orange sticker with "6" written on it, and a sticker printed with "Arhe M. Hartley / 1073 Galley Place / Colorado Spgs, CO. 80915-2500", and stamped in the center of the base is "11". |
