Description |
Part A: Copper formed into a bulbous shape with a bottom cylindrical base which is slightly smaller than the body. Top is flat with a round central opening and short vertical sides. Attached to front and back near the top edge of the bulbous body are copper brackets with three rivets on a straight bar with a rounded top section which has a rotating rivet that connects the handle to the brackets. Handle is a folded over section of copper sheet forming a band with a short squat profile. Front just under the bracket has a an S curved spout attached to side with a raised ridge at top near opening with a triangular copper hinged flap covering the spout end. Part B: Domed copper lid with short vertical sides and two tiered levels around bottom. Top center has a copper looped ring. Written inside lid in white is, "Edw. L Simons". |
