  8. "Souvenir--Elks Minstrels" program - 1907

    Souvenir program for the Elks Minstrels. The front cover is blue with a white elk painted on it with "Souvenir // Elks Minstrels" printed in white. The concert was for Deadwood Lodge No. 508 at the Deadwood Theater. The event was directed by S. A. Grubs Minstrel Syndicate from Chicago. The program as the order of events, list of officers, and advertisements for various businesses.

  10. Letter from Irwin C. Stump to T.J. Grier - 1889

    Letter is written on Black Hills and Fort Pierre Railroad Co. stationary. The first half of the letter is written in code and the second is a translation of the letter. Stump tells Grier that George Hearst would like Grier to do all he can to win the election for judge as long as it is not against their interests.

  11. City of Deadwood Parking Ticket - 1950s

    Bright yellow parking ticket from the 1950s that would be issued to those violating Deadwood City parking regulations. The ticket greets the offender and informs them of some of the interesting attractions in town like the Adams Museum, Mt. Moriah Cemetery and Mt. Roosevelt. The ticket is to be kept as a souvenir and invites the driver back to town often.
