John McClintock's Deadwood-Spearfish stagecoach on the gravel road as it winds around Deadwood Hill, coming into Deadwood. In the background the start of Boulder Canyon is visible. The mudwagon-style coach is pulled by 6 white horses. Several men ride the coach: a driver, an armed guard beside him, two men behind them, a man riding the boot, two men on the coach above the boot--one that is armed and the other is identified as John Leary, aka Hooky Jack. |
