"Deadwood Doctor" by F.S. Howe, M.D. - 1900s-1920s
Copy of "Deadwood Doctor" by F.S. Howe, M.D., illustrated by Diana Tollefson. A handwritten inscription in blue ink is present in the interior, reading "To my friend, Dr. C.J. Phillips, from Dr. Frank S. Howe" The book discusses Dr. Howe's remembrances as a doctor in Deadwood from the early 1900s through the 1920s. Howe was also mayor in the 1920s.

Montan's Historic "Skyline Bill" - 1946
